Free Sony PlayStation 3 Jailbreak tool, PSGroove – Sony PS3 console is now jailbreak-able using PSJailbreak and X3Jailbreak USB ModChip. We know that both tool have ability to jailbreak PS 3 console and play backedup game (and of course pirated PS3 game – use it with your own sin). Unfortunately, PS Jailbreak is not offered for free and it costs you money to buy. Even the X3Jailbreak is cheaper than PSJailbreak, still when there is a free option why don’t we take it. It is PSGroove, an open source Sony PS3 jailbreak tool (which is obviously available for free). As it is an Open SOurce jailbreak, Sony will definitely have their work cut out trying to block the distribution of this jailbreak. PSGroove may also be called as PS Jailbreak Clone
Simple trick to jailbreak PlayStation 3 with PSGroove: ISO booting is disabled making it unusable for running copied games, but the keyword there is “disabled” meaning the functionality to do so is already there, it just needs to be re-enabled. FYI: PSGroove is still in development stage and also new updates, upgrades, and modifications will appear as it is Open Source.

even if u bbypass the system mandatory software update garuntee you will get banned first day because thats highly detectable and plus you have to install the patches for the games so this hack is? only really good fo single player but if you really like playing online like everyone then theres no point on doing this unless u have an xbox and you use that for online gaming haha

..spend 99 dollars, Sony releases firmware 3.60, from which you can no longer use the downgrader and also no more psn, I only recommend buying the downgrader if you plan to go on firmware 3.41 and decide to stay there for the long run. And if anything, just wait for an open source solution, if your a rich focker and loves to buy anything, then go for it.
